Hello all, we are doing fine here in St. Charles. Stacey starts her new job Monday at the Bank here in St. Charles. I hope that goes well. It is close to home. Me, Patsy, Stacey, Stacey's Ron, Pearlie and Pearlie's Ron all went to Olivia's first birthday party yesterday. Lots of people from Glenndas side of the family were there. There was streamers and baloons and cake and ice cream for all. Olivia sure put on a show. If you wasn't there you sure missed it. She was cutting a rug for all. She got lots of presents and she seemed to like all of them. She even liked to play with the money. Everyone would clap and she would clap too. She got a little red chair that was just her size. It was furry. I think she will like that a lot for some time to come. more later....

The people were updating an access database.
The information was pulled in using sql procedures.
I made the programs run in focus using the (scheduler function, not found in access) and then someone had to push a button in access to suck in the data as I recall.

Yes we are back safe and sound but tired. going to take it slow on stocks. No picks for tomorrow. Lets see how tomorrow goes. They are talking about lowering interest rates next week. That might make a small pre rally. We will see.

Yes I remember the MS application - Scheduler2000. It was just that an MS application and it stayed on the server that everyone was connected to. The application took in information from the web by means of putting that information on the server and then the application sucked in that information off the server. Scheduler2000 was able to handle concurrent users. I think if a record was open by one user another user could not open that record until it was released. (I only used Access) and (Web focus to create the current status of tools etc.)
